Call for Papers and Proposals : Society for the Philosophy of Sex and Love, APA Pacific (April 2020)
The Society for Sex and Love invites papers and panel proposals on any topic related to the philosophy of sex and love for our panel session at the APA Pacific in San Francisco, CA (4.8-4.12.20). Deadline for submission is September 1, 2020. All submissions should be sent to jordan.pascoe@manhattan.edu
Guidelines for Papers: We invite papers on any topic related to the philosophy of sex and love. Papers should be no more than 3,000 words.
Guidelines for Panel Proposals: We invite panel proposals for a two-hour session at the APA Pacific on any topic related to the Philosophy of Sex and Love. This might take the form of 3-4 linked papers, 3-4 presenters responding to a single question or theme, or 1-2 papers with invited commentary. Proposals should include the following:
(1) An overview of the central theme or question
(2) Names and affiliation of all participants, including confirmation that they have agreed to participate in the panel
(3) abstracts for all papers included in the panel
